I've done many portrayals of Bettie and here we have one which shows her known “radiance." Technique? I kept it in a "cheesecake" poster approach. She, her persona, “owns” the entire work. There is so much I could mention about Bettie. Perhaps over time, I'll talk about a few things. As I look back, she was the kind of person one would say: a good friend right from the start. We kept in touch until her passing in 2008.  Just know she was a genuine, enduring person in my memory.-Harley
